The province’s Minister of Production, Dr. Miguel Mandrile, announced an increase of more than 10% in livestock production during the last year. This increase not only covers the number of heads but also the quality and genetics of livestock in the region.
On the eve of the 13th edition of EXPOBRA, which will take place from September 18 to 20 at the San Carlos de La Banda Nursery, Santiago del Estero, Mandrile expressed his satisfaction at receiving the outstanding genetics presented by the Brahman, Brangus breeds and Braford at the event.
The minister explained that livestock growth in the province has remained constant, driven by initiatives such as ProCarne, a program supported by Governor Zamora that subsidizes part of the interest rate for Santiago producers, thus promoting the retention of genetics in the province. region.
EXPOBRA not only highlights genetic quality but also commercial opportunities. After the swearing-in of the specimens of the three breeds, the sales, directed by Colombo & Magliano, will present 12,000 wintering heads. Female sales will take place on Thursday, while male breeding stock will go on sale on Friday, with facilities such as 90 days off and free shipping for buyers.
Manuel Molejón of Colombo & Magliano highlighted the additional benefits for producers with Renspa in Santiago del Estero, allowing them to access ProCarne incentives. The Galicia Rural and Banco Nación cards will also be valid during transactions.
