December 27, 2019On a trade mission to Asia, Texas Brahman bulls become a key focus. These bulls, highly sought after for their adaptability to the hot climate, are being exported to Vietnam, where they are contributing to the growth of the livestock industry.
Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller is part of a delegation seeking to strengthen the trade relationship with Vietnam. The export of genetic material from Brahman bulls has boosted agricultural exports between both countries, which reached a record $4 billion in 2018.
This export of Brahman bulls to Vietnam, along with other Texas agricultural products, is solidifying Vietnam’s position as the seventh-largest market for American agricultural products.
