January 24, 2021The “Selected Brahman” auction of the Brahman Breeders Association of Argentina will take place on November 25 with Colombo and Magliano as the auction house. The televised auction will present an outstanding selection of 15 elite bulls, 70 bellies from different registries, and 10 packages of Brahman embryos. This initiative, which arose due to the cancellation of the National Exhibition, offers an unmissable opportunity for producers interested in improving their stock and herds with quality genetics.
The sale, broadcast by Canal Rural, provides 90 free days and another 90 with 12% interest, discounts for cash payments, and free shipping up to 300 kilometers from the selling cabin. According to Raúl Franchino, president of Brahman Argentina, the event will have the offer of outstanding breeders, including 50% of the Grand Champion Female of the 2019 National Exhibition. In addition, cabins such as Río Seco and other important ones will send specimens and embryo packages.
Franchino highlighted the strong interest that the Brahman breed has generated in previous auctions and its adaptation to non-face-to-face formats. The leader highlighted the breed’s resistance to adverse climatic conditions, being a valuable option for commercial rodeos in dry and hot years. He highlighted the Brahman’s ability to improve production quality and its adaptability to challenging scenarios, a quality increasingly appreciated by breeders.
