June 22, 2021The National Breed Exhibition, in collaboration with Expoagro and the support of the Corrientes government, was the scene of a successful day of auctions carried out by the consignees O’Farrell SRL and Colombo y Magliano at the Sociedad Rural de Corrientes. This event, broadcast by digital.expoagro.com.ar, attracted numerous spectators and witnesses to an agile auction and a festive atmosphere that marked the night of Thursday, October 28.
The consignee firms were in charge of the different breeds: Braford, Brahman, Caballos Criollo by Colombo and Magliano, while O’Farrell SRL led with the Brangus breed. At this event, outstanding values were highlighted, reflecting the solidity and quality of the animals offered. O’Farrell SRL obtained notable prices such as $3,000,000 for bulls and $1,150,000 for heifers. For their part, Colombo and Magliano achieved an average of $4,000,000 for a Braford cow and $2,100,000 for a Brahman bull.
Both consignment houses expressed their satisfaction with the good disposition of the attendees and the values obtained on a day when high-quality breeders were sold. In addition, they highlighted the importance of this event for the promotion and development of livestock breeds, evidencing the genetic quality and the varied offerings that the market offers to producers and buyers.
