October 23, 2021The livestock auction in San Borja marked a milestone during the celebration of the 328 years of the founding of the city, where Estancias Espíritu and the guest cabins San Fernando and San Judas Tadeo exhibited bovine breeders of high genetic quality. This event not only highlighted the quality of the animals offered but was also a significant boost for the post-pandemic economic reactivation in the Beni livestock region.
The president of the San Borja Livestock Breeders Association, Scandar Tovias, praised the joint effort of the organizing cabins and encouraged them to consider the investment in these specimens as a step towards genetic improvement and the strengthening of the livestock sector in the area. Hans Peters Elsner, manager of Estancias Espíritu, highlighted the meticulous selection of the specimens offered, supported by genetic data and technical evaluations, thus underlining the relevance of this offer for local livestock development.
