Initiatives advance to strengthen bovine production in western Argentina

June 17, 2022The National Breed Exhibition is preparing to dazzle with more than 700 specimens of Brangus, Brahman, Criollo Horses, and the Dorper sheep breed. From June 13 to 16 on the property of the rural society of Corrientes, this annual event, supported by the provincial government, will have the presence of more than 60 exhibiting companies, offering a platform for bovine, equine, and ovine genetics.
This exhibition, under the motto “Criando Futuro”, highlights the importance of northern Argentina in agricultural development. The Argentine Brangus Association leads with the 52nd Brangus Grand National and the 16th National Calf Exhibition, with 450 animals from ten provinces. For its part, the 20th National Brahman Exhibition focuses on highlighting the key role of this breed in the face of challenges such as the pandemic, droughts, and fires, according to Esteban Binaghi, president of the Brahman Breeders Association of Argentina.
Patricio Frydman, commercial manager of Exponenciar, highlighted the relevance of this exhibition to promote technological development and business in the region. This edition is expected to be especially significant, marking growth compared to the previous year and offering a comprehensive platform for the livestock sector amid environmental and climatic challenges.
